Purple pendant pattern

Purple pendant set pictured with purple and white flowers.

Pattern 7
£8
Beading level: suitable for beginners. It is explained in great detail with lots of diagrams and written instructions and is very easy to follow.

I wish I'd chosen a better name for this! It certainly doesn't have to be purple, it can be any colour you like.

The pattern contains instructions for all the jewellery shown in the photos, consisting of a large pendant with a spiral rope necklace, bracelet and three pairs of earrings.

The spiral rope stitch can be very useful to use if you have beads that are not consistent lengths as you will pick up five at once so they just need to form the same length in total.

The pendant is double sided so you could embellish each side in a different colour to match different outfits. The pendant is easy to remove and replace if you wanted to wear the rope on its own sometimes, or you could make a collection of pendants and ropes in different colours to mix and match. The tutorial also explains how to use the rope pattern to make a matching bracelet, and has three pairs of matching earrings. You can see all three in the photo with the flowers on.

33 pages. 61 clear computer-drawn diagrams.  8 photos including 6 of finished work.

You will need 8mm and 6mm round beads, 4mm bicones,  sizes 8 and 11 seed beads and a beading needle and thread. Plus you will need a necklace or bracelet clasp, earring hooks, and jump rings, with two pairs of pliers to attach them with. I used faceted round beads for my jewellery or you can use smooth round beads just as effectively.

Please note that this is a digital tutorial supplied in PDF format and you will NOT receive a paper copy nor any jewellery or materials.

One of the pairs of earrings from this pattern is available as an individual pattern here.

The spiral rope used for the necklace and bracelet is available as a separate pattern here.
